Prof. V. U. Bansude
(M.E. (VLSI & Embb. System))
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering SBPCOE, Indapur, Pune, is involved in providing quality education at Undergraduate (UG) levels since its establishment in 2009. The rapid development in Electronics and Telecommunications initiated the inception of a separate Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
The program emphasizes basics of Electronics, Computers, Communication Engineering, Automation, Robotics and Instrumentation. All the laboratories are designed as per AICTE norms and curriculum of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Laboratories are spacious and have state-of-art equipments and software. The Department adds to the quality of education by teaching several subjects covering fundamentals and advanced topics in the fields mentioned above. The department runs Value Addition Programs for students on various advanced topics useful from the industry placement point of view.
Over a span of Thirteen years, the department has been successful in attracting some of the best minds in the state and country, both in the student and teaching community. In the future, the department hopes to extend its research into newer areas like Energy Efficient Networks, Optoelectronics, biomedical electronics, Internet of things, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.

- To cultivate the teaching learning process through industry, faculty, student interaction.
- To facilitate students to generate and propagate knowledge and technology necessary to local and global needs.
To promote multidisciplinary activities & soft skills for rural students through co-curricular & extracurricular activities.
Short Term Goals
- To achieve best results i.e. Our E & T.C Department results should be at the top at the university level.
- To strengthen departmental Library.
- To start pre-compliance testing and R&D activities in our department.
- To promote staff members for higher studies.
To improve continuously quality of teaching by assimilating knowledge of upcoming technology & new areas by attending and organizing various STTPs.
Long Term Goals
- To start Post graduation program.
- To start PhD program.
- To start R & D centre.
- Out sourcing of competent Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers.
- To develop the institute in focused areas like Telecommunication, Information Technology & Non conventional Energy Resources

- An ability to design a system component orq process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic , environmental, social, political, ethical , health and safety manufacturability and sustainability
- An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams
- An ability to develop skills to face challenging task for creating innovative ideas for the benefit of society.
An ability to use required techniques,q hardware & software tools for engineering applications
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Student will be able:
- To apply fundamental knowledge of science, mathematics to engineering.
- To study, design and develop, analyze the electronic circuits, equipments, projects and software.
- To perform the duties assigned to them as team leaders or project managers in industry / organization.
- To take up higher studies in electronics & allied areas of engineering & management.
To attain the qualities of professional leadership to deliver effectively in a multidisciplinary team & domains.

PSO1: To mathematically analyze various machine learning approaches and paradigms
PSO2: Understand and apply various protocols for design of IoT systems
PSO3: To learn various types of algorithms useful in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
